What is Investment Cooking?
Once A Month Cooking, or Investment Cooking, can be a timesaving, fun and fulfilling experience. The basic concept is to do a whole bunch of cooking in one day, freezing the food for future dinners. You can supplement this by cooking larger quanitites of food when you do need to cook and freezing the leftovers.

Most people do this on their own, spending two 10 hour days cooking different meals to freeze. Some people join co-ops and share their dishes with others. Neither of these appealed to me. 20 hours of cooking? No way! Co-ops with strangers sharing food with you? No thanks.
