Glazed Chicken Drumsticks

3 lbs chicken drumsticks (skinned for low-fat)
2/3 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup honey
1/3 cup brown sugar
2 Tbsp 5 spice powder
2 Tbsp vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed

5 Spice Powder

1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp anise seed (can be replaced with allspice if you don't like anise)
1 tsp fennel seed
1/4 tsp crushed peppercorn
1/4 tsp ground cloves

Mix in a blender on high until finely ground.

Place chicken in a oven/freezer safe shallow dish. Mix remaining ingredients. Pour over chicken. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour, turning occasionally.

To Freeze: Freeze in freezer safe container.

To Reheat: Defrost. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place chicken on rack in aluminum foil lined broiler pan and reserve marinade. Brush chicken with reserved marinade. Bake 30 minutes, brushing occasionally with marinade. Turn chicken and bake 30 minutes longer, brushing occasionally with marinade, until juices run clear.
