Filipino BBQ Pork Skewers

2.5 lbs chicken breast, cut into 1" cubes
6 oz 7-up
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 lemon, juice of
1/3 cup brown sugar
6 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tsp black pepper
crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Mix all ingredients in a large non-reactive bowl and marinate the meat overnight.

To Freeze: Freeze in freezer safe container.

To Reheat: If using wooden skewers, soak in water at least an hour so they don't burn on the grill. Thread the meat onto skewers and grill. Discard unused marinade.
